Children between the ages 6 to 18 can be part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. The program is free and completely voluntary. Children enter the program between the ages of 6 and 12. A child may be referred for any number of reasons but usually they come from a single parent household where the attention of another caring adult can make a positive difference. Referrals come from a number of sources but the parent/guardian and the child must agree to or request the services of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
